Working in a creative field can be deeply rewarding. It can also be incredibly demanding.

Whether you're an actor, writer, musician, producer, director, executive, or someone working behind the scenes, creative work often comes with unique pressures. Success can feel uncertain. Rejection can be frequent. The demands of constantly creating, performing, or achieving can take a toll on relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working as a television development executive at major studios and networks. While every career is different, I understand firsthand many of the realities that come with working in entertainment and creative industries.

I also recognize that this is a particularly challenging moment for many creative professionals. As television and film production have contracted, people are navigating increased uncertainty, fewer opportunities, and difficult questions about their careers and futures. These realities can affect not only financial stability, but also a person's sense of identity, confidence, and purpose.

Many people come to therapy because they are feeling anxious, burned out, stuck, overwhelmed, dissatisfied in their relationships, or unsure of what comes next. Others are struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, career transitions, or the emotional impact of uncertainty and rejection.

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and relational. Together, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be influencing your life today. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.

I'm warm, honest, and straightforward. Therapy with me feels like a dialogue. I won't simply sit and nod while you talk. We'll work collaboratively to understand what's bringing you to therapy and what you're hoping will be different.
